Welcome to Scenes From the West

I have a love of the West; the look, the feel, the grandeur.  I want to share with you that love through the western scenes I've captured.

The key to photography is light. I have always believed in capturing scenes that evoke a feeling in me, then I use light and my photographic skills to evoke that feeling in you.   If you see an example of my work and are motivated to buy it, it's because you are “seeing” what I saw that day in the mountains,   lakes, deserts or rivers of the west.

To guarantee high quality images I do all of my work using 4 x 5 film and high-resolution 35mm digital. Along with the finest lenses and papers this allows me to capture the stunning look of the west.

I cut my mats, by hand, and do all of the printing, up to a print width of 24 inches, myself. Even for larger prints the matting and packaging is done personally so that everything is right for you, guaranteed.
