Welcome to Scenes From The West

Click on “Gallery” above and you will see some of the landscape and nature photography I am pleased to present.  The photograph I call Surrounded appeared in a recent issue of Cascades East magazine.

I have a love of the West; the look, the feel, the grandeur.  I want to share with you that love through the western scenes I’ve captured.

The key to photography is light.  I have always believed in capturing scenes that evoke a feeling in me and then using that light and my photographic skills, evoke that feeling in you.  If you see an example of my work and are motivated to buy it, it’s because you are “seeing” what I saw that day in the mountains, lakes, deserts or rivers of the West.

To guarantee high quality images I do all of my work using high resolution 35mm digital cameras or a very high resolution digital scanning back mounted on my Linhof 4x5 camera.  Along with the finest lenses this allows me to capture the stunning look of the West.

I cut my mats by hand and do all of the printing up to a print width of 24 inches.  Even for larger prints the matting and packaging is done personally so that everything is right for you, guaranteed.

And if for any reason you are not happy with your purchase in the first 90 days, you may exchange it or obtain a full refund less any shipping charges, provided the photograph is returned in like new condition.
